I couldn’t trace any information on G. Lemajeur. We can only track the information embedded in the photos themselves. G. Lemajeur must have been a Belgian (Flemish) pictorialist. The photos seem to illustrate a peaceful and idealistic rural setting. Only the picture showing a family reading a letter has some tension in it.The photos are dated 1915, which is the first year of the Great War. This is peculiar because war time can hardly be the ideal setting for photography and pictorialism. Belgium was suffering under the occupation by the Germans.
