House Concert on Friday January, 27th

On the occasion of the vernissage of the new exhibition Collector's Room Update #1: Stieglitz meets Misonne we organize a house concert with “Les Ariettes Oubliées” – Claude Debussy based on a poem by Paul Verlaine performed by Sandra Lammens (piano) and Annelies van Hijfte (soprano).

The music and the photos have their roots in the impressionism of the turn of the twentieth century.  Two different media evoking an important period in the history of art.

The house concert is an interesting evocation of a 19th century art salon in a contemporary setting.
We hope to welcome you at this unique event on Friday, January, 27th at 8pm.

Collector's Room Update #1:
Stieglitz meets Misonne

Alfred Stieglitz and Léonard Misonne were two important photographers who gathered a circle of photographers around them.  Of course you know Camera Work, the famous magazine edited by Stieglitz.  In the exhibition we will show a fine selection of the photogravures from Camera Work.

The Camera Work photographers will be side by side with a selection of European pictorialist photographers.  This combination is a real eye opener on pictorialism.

The exhibition opens on Friday January 27 and will last until Saturday March 31.

New: Vision d'Artiste (1908) by Gustave Marissiaux

Today, after almost 15 years Anamorfose has one of the largest online vintage photo collections.  There are about 4.000 photos online divided in 84 online photo exhibitions by about 64 photographers.  We maintain an inventory of about 10.000 photos in our archive that spans more than 50 years photo history in a full range of styles and subjects.

The vintage photos are available for guidance in establishing or developing a photo collection as well as buying or selling.
