The 5.5-inch solar telescope of the Meudon, France Observatory made by Adam Prazmowski was used to make some 6.000 photos of the Sun during the period of 1876 to 1903. This photos are the base of Janssen’ monumental work “L’atlas de Photographies Solaire” published in 1904.
